Since 2000 Denise Trager had been an adjunct instructor of communication at the Florida Community College of Jacksonville (FCCJ), as well as a private practice tutor in speech therapy and reading. She also served the Clay and Duval County School Boards for 20 years as a speech pathologists administering the speech program for 45-90 students, including mild to severely impaired children.

Prior, while serving on the Duval County School Board for Atlantic Beach Elementary for 8 years; Denise conducted diagnostic testing for students, and handled the caseload of approximately 100 hours/week.

Denise has a Master's degree in Speech Corrections from Hofstra University, and a M.E.D. in Mental Health Counseling. She is also Board Certified Licensed in Florida for Speech Pathology.

With her ASHA certification Denise has training in LindaMood-Bell, a multi-sensory approach to reading and language comprehension and phonemic awareness. Denise's training has helped many business and individuals with accent reduction, articulation, and speech therapy.
